But when you study Scripture closely, you’ll see something different.

The women who moved with excellence…
The leaders who built with impact…

They didn’t do it all.

They built systems.
They developed people.
They knew when to move—and when to release.

Delegation Isn’t Weakness—It’s Wisdom

Let’s start with what we often overlook.

In Book of Proverbs 31

She’s celebrated as the woman who “does it all.”

But read it again.

She:

• Has maidens (v.15)
• Oversees operations
• Engages in business
• Cares for her household

She isn’t overwhelmed.

She’s organized.

Busy girl, she’s not running around doing everything herself—
she’s leading a functioning household.

Consider Abigail

When crisis hit, she didn’t panic.

• A servant brought her information
• She mobilized quickly
• She prepared resources
• She moved with precision

That kind of speed?

It doesn’t come from chaos.

It comes from capacity and support.

This Pattern Shows Up in Business and Ministry Too

In Book of Exodus 18

Moses was doing everything alone.

Until he was told:

“What you are doing is not good…”

So he:

• Appointed leaders
• Distributed responsibility
• Built structure

And everything changed.

In Acts of the Apostles 6

The apostles were overwhelmed.

So they made a decision:

“We will give ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word.”

Everything else?

Delegated.

And the result?

👉 Growth multiplied.
👉 Impact expanded.

Even Creation Reflects This

In Book of Genesis 1, God says:

“Let the earth bring forth…”
“Let the waters abound…”

He created systems that could produce.

Then He gave man dominion.

He didn’t design you to manage everything.

Let’s be honest.

You’re not holding onto everything because you’re unaware.

You’re holding on because:

• It’s faster to do it yourself
• You care about the outcome

Now.

If not → it’s a distraction, even if it’s good.

E — Expandable Through Others

Can this be taught, delegated, or systemized?

If yes → it’s not yours to carry long-term.

Let This Settle In

👉 If it’s not ONLY you
👉 not NECESSARY now
👉 and it can be EXPANDED

It’s not yours to hold.

What This Means for Your Life (Yes, Even at Home)

Let’s bring this into real life.

Because delegation isn’t just for business or ministry.

It’s for your home too.

• Delegate household tasks
• Simplify systems at home
• Bring in support where possible

Not because you’re neglecting your home…

But because you’re expanding your assignment.

Think about Abigail again.

When urgency hit, she didn’t need to “get ready.”

She was already positioned.

That’s what delegation does.
