    Ingredients (makes about 6 shots):

    • 1 cup fresh ginger root (peeled and roughly chopped)

    • ½ cup fresh turmeric root (peeled and roughly chopped) or 2 tsp ground turmeric

    • 2 oranges (peeled)

    • 1 lemon (peeled)

    • 1–2 tbsp raw honey (optional, for sweetness)

    • A pinch of black pepper (helps your body absorb turmeric’s curcumin)

    • 1–2 cups filtered water (adjust for desired strength)

    Directions:

    1. Add ginger, turmeric, orange, lemon, and water to a high-speed blender.

    2. Blend until smooth.

    3. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.

    4. Stir in honey and black pepper.

    5. Pour into small glass jars or shot bottles. Store in the fridge up to 4 days.

    How to Use:
    Take one shot (about 2 oz) in the morning on an empty stomach or before meals.
