Faith that builds, faith that manifests!
Now faith!!!!
I was reading this morning and was overwhelmed by the words that jumped out at me from the book of Hebrews chapter 11. A well know chapter often coined as the faith hall of fame. I saw something today that I am sure to have read a millions times over. Ok, well maybe not a millions times. But often enough that reading it today; shouldn’t have felt like the first time! But that is what we call a rhema word for me. So, I thought I would share it with you all and see what the Lord would say to you about it.
Verse 7 speaking about Noah states, “Faith opened Noah’s heart to receive revelation and warnings from God about what was coming, even things that had NEVER BEEN SEEN. But he stepped out in obedience to God and built an ark that save him and his family. By faith the world was condemned, but Noah received God’s gift of righteousness that comes by believing.
I wish I had the ability to highlight with color these portions of the verse but I couldn’t. However, they are italicized. So, if you notice these words so poignant, they offer us insight about moving in realms of faith that build structures that save ourselves, families and the “world” we were called to impact.
It says, that it was faith that opened Noah’s heart to receive revelation! The revelation you seek to shift your business, family and impact potential … must come through an open heart to receive. This was powerful to me to consider that you may be putting the cart before the horse. Often times we are frustrated because we have so many options and ways screaming at us to find and build success, create wealth and make an impact or (make our dent in the world.) But Hebrews reveals that even the revelation for the “way” and “what” must first come from an open heart that isl open enough to hear and receive or “conceive” the idea. Revelation came to Noah because he had an open heart.
ARE YOU OPEN TO HEAR REVELATION? It may whisper in between the loud cries of social media and available frameworks. Your idea or revelation that has the ability to change yours and your families life, may not be found in the sea of readily available commentary of ways to make your dent and to succeed. ♀️
Then it goes on to say, that the revelation he received was concerning things he had NEVER before seen. Like, no one had ever seen it before! Can you imagine that God may want to give you something this season that the world has never seen before? Can you image that you may receive something so impactful that it will be something unknown, unprecedented and unimaginable? Something so unique that it will do exactly what Noah’s (idea) or revelation did. “Save him and his family!”
But, it was this part that sent me into a place of self examination! “he STEPPED OUT AND BUILT!” ok, pause to the cause! he stepped out and built something no one… including him had ever seen nor heard about and without any so called ” guarantees” he stepped out and built.
ok, busy girl’s …. if we are going to change the world and let me clear. Noah, changed the entire world. But it might be our world that is changed. That’s absolutely ok and amazing! I say Lord, change my world with something never seen before! S0, for what’s it’s worth to0day I just wanted to say, “eyes have not seen, ears have not heard … neither has it entered into the hearts of men … the things the Father has prepared for those who love HIM.
I think if we got brave enough to open our hearts to things brand new and maybe even scary. A kind of Let’s go vibe before we even know what’s coming or what’s next. We might conceive an idea or revelation from heaven that would literary change the landscape of our lives…. for generations to come.
In closing, verse 33 mentions nestled in the verse … ” Their faith fastened onto their promises and pulled them into reality!” My God…. can you conceive something today that you can fasten your faith to…. and pull into reality?
